Pins in head

Found a cool axehead but its got a couple of pins in the head that go through the head. Does this completely de-value the axe? wondering if i could flip it for profit or restore it.

thats unfortunate.

if its cheap, its definitely worth buying.

i personally would keep it, but i do not believe it would pull much on the market, probably considerably less than $100

I just won an auction for cheap for a Plumb with a pin through it. I may just use something like Marine Tex to fill the holes after hanging it. Maybe set a plastic gem in it?? LOL Pimp my hatchet.

I would be more concerned with the crack on the other side of the axe as shown in the ebay add. Seeing as it is up to $1.50 now- not much to loose. You could weld the blank side and save the logo by just removing the nails, that would leave most of the stamping intact. I doubt it would have much collector value .
