I have noticed very few discussions about this knife over on the Blade Discussion Forum and have yet to see one for sale on the forum. I am thinking about getting one. What's the deal here? Is this knife just not as popular as some of the other REKAT's? Comments appreciated.

I have a pioneer and I carry it when I go to an area where it is likely that my pocket hobbit will be confiscated. It is a hefty knife that has a tough lock that DOESN'T turn LEO's heads. My pocket hobbit or future SIFU would be confiscated in my juristiction because LEO's in my area like to collect knives for their personal collection.

BT,

Most of the people I know who have purchased Pioneers don't generally sell them - very solid beefy little knife. The Pioneer may not be thin, or light, but it is STRONG and reliable. Worth buying if you want a tough little knife.

P9 - how is your hobbit doing anyway>!?

If you want a LARGE NASTY SCARY FOLDER - check out the SIFU!

Sorry if this is "off thread". Hi Ray, Pocket hobbit doing fine. Planning to buy a sifu pretty soon. Maybe during spring break when I have the time to shop. Take care.
