Pioneer Kydex Sheath

I just received the kydex sheath to compliment the REKAT Pioneer that I have already had for a few months and am somewhat disappointed by it. It seems to be incredibly awkward to use; I have yet to find a quick, simple way to deploy the knife from it. Otherwise the sheath is great--it holds to knife very securely. Perhaps someone can help me out with deployment techniques.

Rock knife out front of sheath and snap wrist to throw blade away from handle - you will be in reverse grip. Breakfront sheath was designed for quick deployment. Alternate move - rock knife out front, roll in hand, thumb blade open.
