NEW PRODUCT !
Pioneer M-43 arrived here in recent shipment.
This is the Himalayan Imports version of the Pioneer Calcutta 1943 MkII pattern M-43 Khukuri. It was produced and issued by the British in India and saw service during WWII. A Cache of these was found in the Royal Arsenal at the palace of Lagan Silekhana in Kathmandu, Nepal which was purchased in 2003 by IMA and the Windlass brothers.

I wonder if we'll see more of these first edition Pioneers by Anil. I've been feeling like i missed out recently... I can see differences between Purna Kami's and Anil's, each of them took a slightly different direction. oh well... c'est la vie!
 
I'd send a message to Yangdu and ask, she might have gotten more than one. Maybe you'll be lucky. It is a mighty fine-looking knife for sure.
