Ok in another thread “why is Alox so expensive?” I had finally puchased a Red Alox Cadet (84mm) and if you read on the deal fell through miserably. Vender sent a red kitchen knife. Hey they got the color right:thumbsup::p
So checking the internet i noticed the Pioneer Solo and i really liked the idea of a single bladed Swiss Army pocket knife in Silver Alox. Fingers crossed!!
Long shipping time as I understand it’s coming from Germany.

It's a really nice set up, being a single blade. A true SAK knife knife. The colored ones are hard to come by as they are limited in production, not limited edition.

I have 2 black, 1 orange, in addition to the standard silver. Theres always one around me.. Somewhere.

Enjoy.

Great! I’ll keep my eye out for them.
I do like the thicker blade. Definitely a stout knife, shame it isn’t a lock blade.
For safety purposes only.

Because the backspring only has to serve the knife it's a very tight 'lock', so the knife won't just close under normal usage.

I have often thought of getting a Solo because sometimes all I want is just a simple pocket knife. I probably will buy one at some point. I look forward to hearing your thoughts after you get it.

I will post pics and thoughts soon after it arives. It has a long ship time as it’s coming from Germany i think and free shipping means as the word implies “ on a ship” lol.
Hopefully they predict a late arrival date but like most dates will arrive sooner then predicted.

And when opened and locked its really not going anywhere. I think at $25 total i need to order a few more? Though there is a black Swiss Champ on Amazon for $50 so i’m torn?
