Pioneer1 vs II

Recently purchased a Pioneer (1).
Numero uno Rekat buy. The difference between the Ist&2nd models, is?
Also request some input from Pioneer users,
on product satisfaction.

The newer Pioneer II has the blade-release on the side of the handle. Also if your Pioneer I doesn't have a pocket-clip, the Pioneer II does. There may be other differences that I don't know about...

Well, Glockman99 hit the nail on the head with the differences. (he knows his stuff!)

I will add that my Pioneer II is my favorite carry REKAT (I have about 5). I carry all the rest too but it's the one I seem to grab the most.

When mine came it needed a little attention to the lockup. So I fixed that, polished the action, liners and blade spine. Now it's rock solid and looks a little better (they look great to start so my work wasn't a great improvement).

For the money I really don't think there are too many more durable blades on the market.
