Hello .
Pipeman asked if i had any other work to show, so i thought i would show this and some of the stages i went through to make.
I have used Copper ,Brass , and Stirling silver for the inlays on this one.
Thanks everyone for your time.
Chris

So does one have to sell his own soul to acquire one of these, or do you accept proxies?

I really like the work on this, it's quite amazing to put it plainly.

Wow, thanks for the pictures. Can you estimate how many hours you have in this hawk- for the basic head and all the excellent inlay and engraving.
Thanks again

Oy Chris
Do you do this for a living? What is your background/training in metal work? Do you work in other steels?

Best regards

Robin

Wonderful workmanship my friend, love the bamboo. Cheers from the other colony:D

Incredible work Chris.

The hawk is bit too kitschy for me, but the craftsmanship is outstanding. The comparatively understated tsuba is much better stylewise, IMO.
