My first completed project for the year and also my first pipe hawk

Hand forged and carved 1084/1095 steel, Blade is 3 x 2 1/4
inches, 7 inches OAL, 0-1 screw on bowl. Handle is 20 inches
carved curly maple

I don,t usually see a pipe hawk as being terribly functional . That puppy looks like it does it all and looks good doing it . If I read it right the bowl unscrews and you in theory could use it like a hammer . Not that you ever would . Nice job .
