My latest big Bowie.

This project started out as an order for another Bowie just like this: Southwest Bowie
Obviously there were a few changes made along the way, but I think they were all for the better ;)

The blade is 11.5" of differentially hardened W2, 0.3" thick at the ricasso with a fast taper. The handle is Ringed Gidgee, with a blued mild steel guard, and copper spacer and pin. The overall length is 16".

Thanks for looking!

It's a beauty, Will. Love the hamon and sweeping lines. Don't see the Pirate connection though, looks like a southwestern bowie to me, lol.

This one hit's all the right buttons for me... blade material, shape, hamon, guard, handle material, design, etc... Very nice!!

Amazing knife and that Gidgee is beautiful! I have grown to love that stuff!

I'm not ordinarily a gidgee fan, but the figure and color on that piece is beautiful.

Ahhh, I see you're at it again!

Love your work and this is no exception my friend..... :)

Great design and craftsmanship overall, but that guard is off the charts. Good call on the change.
