Eric, there's a portion of a Monty Python sketch that had me laughing so hard I nearly sprung a rib. In it was a soccer match, played by a team of gynecologists dressed in medical scrubs, against a team of Long John Silver impersonators, all of them identically dressed right down to the parrot on their shoulder. The gynecologists were bouncing around like so many Jack Russel terriers, while the Long Johns just stood fast on their crutches, shaking their fist and growling out an occasional "Aaaargh". Totally absurd, absolutely hilarious. :D

Sarge,

Did a quick search - could not find a clip of the actual sketch, but found several references to it (Bournemouth Gynecologists vs. the Watford Long John Silver Impersonators). I'll have to look for it on cable. Sounds like a true side-splitter. :)

I saw that Monty Python skit a couple of nights ago, it's something else. But this thread reminded me of Monty's skit featuring two old ladies (who were really male castmembers, as usual), listening to the radio reenactment of Mary Queen of Scots...

"Oy, are you Mary Queen of Scots?

"Yes, I am."

"Right!"

*chop chop chop chop*

*screams*

*more chopping*

etc.

Then, Part II.

"I think she's dead."

"I'm not dead."

*chop chop chop*

And so forth.

:D

Take care.
