So I come home from running errands today and the the postman had left a note in my mail box saying that a box from Joel Pirela was at the post office for me. I rush up there and get my Sensei. It is the best built knife I have ever handled. It opens super smooth and locks up perfect. As for being sharp out of the box. I shaved a little hair off my arm just to check it out. I'm not really sure if the knife shaved the hair or if the hair just saw the knife coming and popped out to get out of the way but it is SHARP . The pocket clip is set nice and high so it sits in my pocket very secure. As for the way it feels in my hand the only thing I can say is I can't put it down. Almsot cut myself more than once playing with it on the drive home. I know they are sold out on Joel's site but if you see one for sale pick it up you won't be disappointed.
