Hi Folks -

Most of you have seen my vintage Badger Attack Ergo that Stomper of JK Handmade Knives reground. After I experienced Chad Pirtle of Pirtle Made Custom Leather's wares, I am hooked and needed to have Chad craft something for the old Ergo.

Chad outdid himself with the following beauty - which hangs just right on a duty-belt, and looks like sex in leather. I am very happy and lucky to have this beauty of a sheath. I just let Chad run with it and, well, you be the judge! Let's Drink!

With Jack Daniels Legacy #1 (in liquor stores now...)

Chad vacuum packs all of his wares, as well as his cards and stickers, in plastic with desiccant packs - very professional and a nice touch.

Darn nice sheath and knife combo! I love the extended choil on that BAe!

Nice looking leather work there, grats. Honestly though we have some of the best product artists here on this forum. Our sheath specialists are top notch in the world in my opinion, both leather and index.

Way cool stuff right there. Lovely knife, love how the stock gently rolls and tapers across the entire blade down hill from pommel...nice grinding. It's like a nice rolling hill that starts down into a basin from about 1/3" from where the choil starts....beautiful stuff, Stomper!

Chad knows what I think about him and his sheaths!

That is a perfect sheath - pretty elusive in the sheath world as far as I'm concerned. The amount of tooling is just right - decorative but subdued, flows with the form and mimics the knife handle texture. Color is very effective too. I appreciate Pirtle's restraint. Nicely done.

I really like it. Wear it proudly. Great knife too

Chad makes a beautiful and amazing functional sheath. they are worth well more the what he charges for his work. hes a great dude too and in one or 2 orders he becomes your friend as well as your leather guy. get on his list quick hes doing great things and has to have a lot of work

MQQN,

Thanks so much for the feedback and for the business. I always love seeing sheaths in their native habitat :) This was a fun project to do as well, Stomper did a great job on that one!

Thanks to everyone else for the comments as well, they are greatly appreciated. I know my backlog has been pretty long lately and I am looking forward to making a big announcement soon.

Also, sorry for the delayed response to this thread. We are on vacation in Myrtle Beach and have been exhausted in the evenings (being 47 with a 4 year old on vacation tends to do that :)) with a sketchy Internet connection.
