Since only one order for pitdog's winning design has been placed so far, I told him I would hand make his so he wouldn't have to wait. Plus it will give folks a chance to see what it will actually look like. The production version will be 1/8" thick A2 but pit had originally asked about doing it with 3/16" thick stock. Since I had 3/16" A2 on hand, I'm making his with that thickness. I will post a pic of the rough ground blade that will be HTed tomorrow, later this evening. I will post pics of the finishing process for pitdog's enjoyment. :)

Here's the blade. I will post pics of it's progress.

This will be right up your alley. It looks like something you would come up with. :D

Looking good Scott.

I can't order right now, too many commitments at the moment, but I'll follow the progress here in anticipation of ordering my own "Pit Belly."

Thanks guys. HTed it today, got the walnut scales ready to attach tomorrow if I make it to the shop. Sheath is made, just needs to be dyed.
Pitdog, email me your shipping address when you get a chance. I'm hoping to get this shipped next week.

Here are two pics working on the handle scales.

pitdog should be happy with that one. I currently have the one standing order - anyone else want to join me?

:)
