Ive had my small classic for a year now, and its definetly a user, I use this knife for everything. It seems like I cant wait to cut something, just so I can pull it out of my pocket. But recently I noticed several small pinhead sized pits on the blade near the tip, and a couple of bigger pits on top of the backbone of the blade. I was wandering if there was anything I can do about this? Since the metal has corrosion pits that ate away the metal, there probly isnt any thing to do but polish them away(taking away more metal). Dont get me wrong , I love my Sebenza's, and this one is my every day worker. Just wandering if there was i fix to this, Thank You

I don't think you have contacted us direct ?? Anyway, there is no way to repair the pitting - we can replace the blade for you, though. Just send the knife back and we will take care of it for you!

Excellent opportunity to upgrade to the S30V blade. Probably not free, but if you contact CRK I bet they would make you a very reasonable offer! ;) :D

I wasnt really expecting to get anything for free!!! I just wandered(although, kinda already knew the awnser)if there was something I didnt know about, to fix my problem. Actually, the pits dont hinder my cutting, so I haven't worried about them. I USE this knife everyday, it doesnt hardly ever leave my pocket. Fishing, camping, work, everything!!! I mean these knives are meant to be used right?;)

Scott Dog: Yeah, I thought about upgrading, but I think I'm going to keep it birth certificate original.:D

The General: I guess I wont be diving with my best friend anymore:o

Anne: Thank You, I will contact you directly:)
