Is the ceramic coating on the karambit that durable? My blade has started to show signs of pitting, just above and to the left of the Emerson logo. Would it be better to just remove the coating and have the blade parkerized? Or are there touch-up solutions to remedy the situation? Would the black finish be tougher? I'm getting a little O.C. with the corrosion!!! Help!!!

With the ceramic coating I would think you would see NO rust or corrosion of any sort. I removed the coating from my commander and wish I never did its a real tuff coating, you can try fine scotch brite but it will make it turn a dark gray color. A tuff cloth might do the trick too

Unless that blade is Beta Titanium, or such, you gotta keep a light oil coating on the steel.
