What did it used to be made of if different from now ????

When was it changed, if it was ????

I believe the pivot bearing is made out of steel, I'm not sure what type exactly. I don't think it was ever changed. However if you are talking about the washers they are made out of phosphor bronze but used to be made out of teflon. I'm not sure when they changed it exactly but the change was made at least 3 years ago.
