Pivot bushing issue

I love my small Sebenza 21 and have been carrying it regularly, but I have one issue.

I hear everyone say how the pivot bushing allows you to torque down as much as you want on the screw, and the knife remains perfectly smooth. But if I use even moderate finger pressure when tightening my pivot screw, the blade locks up and I can barely open it. It doesn't matter how many times I take it apart, clean and re-lube, if I tighten it, I can't open it easily. I've paid attention to not pinch the washers when reassembling. If it opens too easily, I know that the screw has backed out a few turns and is now loose. I've been using a few different lubes such as mineral oil, CLP, and another gun oil.

Am I doing something wrong or is there an issue with my pivot?
Thanks for any help.

I'd send it back to CRK for a check-up. It sounds like the bushing is just a little too thin. They will probably replace it with a new, ever-so-slightly thicker one.

Thanks, I had thought my bushing might be a little thin. I just needed the reassurance I wasn't crazy. I'll send it in.
