Pivot screw loosen

Hellow guys, I have a SPYDERCO C10 ENDURA 4, and have taken it apart by myself. Now it has a problem: when I use it, especially open and close, the pivot screw will loosen, need to tighten it every couple of days. Do you have the same problem? And How to deal with it? Thx!

Buy some blue loctite and add a bit to the pivot screw, tighten the screw to your desired resistance, and let it sit overnight. In other words, after you add the loctite, do not play around with the knife, just leave it alone for at least 24 hours.

Loctite 222 is purple loctite. It is lower strength than blue loctite. Both should work fine. I use blue loctite on all my knife pivots because that's what's most easily available to me at my local hardware store. Do NOT use red loctite. Screws with blue and purple loctite are removable with hand tools alone; red loctite requires application of heat to remove.
