pivot screw size?

I wanted to know what the size difference is in pivot screws in the zt line. Like the 0350 seems to be a normal size, but the 0200 and 030x's have that nut and look bigger. Same with the 0550/0560's. Those that have these, could you please look and let me know. It would be greatly appreciated!

The 0350, 0550, and 0551 have a larger pivot. You'll need a Torx 10 for those. The others use a Torx 8.

The 0350, 0400, 055X, and 056X use T-8. The 030X and 0200 use a 12 mm Hex. Not sure what the 0500 is, but I'm betting it is something unique because of its design.

Are you interested in the torx size (as KershawLynda pointed out) or are you asking for screw pitch/size? i.e. 6-32 or 8-32?

Thank you KershawLynda and Ore_Ele. 1SHOT!KILL yes I was looking for both the size of the torx and the actuall size in diameter of the pivot. I have the 0350 and a 0400 and seen they are the same. But I was curious because I was looking at a 0200 and knew it had the nut. That got me thinking of what size difference there was across the board. I have only seen the pictures of 055x's and 056x's so it's a bit hard to tell the size. the 0500 I have and its some kind of specialty deal.

The 055X/056X are the same...the body is 6x32 with 3/16 uhl and the pivot is 8x32 with 3/16 uhl (IIRC).

thanks for the info. So I assume the 030x's and the 0200 are the beefiest pivots of the bunch next to the 0500.

I was gonna say, t10 on the 0350? Could have sworn I just took my CB apart with the same t8 I've been using on Blurs? One strike for KershawLynda! :D

Just took a T-10 to my 0350CBZDP, and it is a T-8 for the pivot and T-6 for handles. The 0200, 030x, 055x, and 056x use a T-10 for the handle screws, but the pivots are what I mentioned earlier. Sorry, not sure on what the depth is. I'll have to measure what I got.

KershawLynda just called you on that one OvalmanPA! i thought it was an interesting question. I know they are all pretty darn beefy but as to how much larger in diameter they are i still wonder? Definetly overkill... I like that!

An 8 will work, but word from my buddies over in warranty assure me it's a 10.

Lynda can you please take a board with a round hole in it and a square peg over to the guy you talked to in the warranty department and try putting them together. When they don't fit, tell him T10 in a T8 screw works the same way. :D I just tried a T10 bit in 4 of my 5 0350s (the CB is at your place getting sharpened :)) and it does not even come close to fitting. Unless something was changed pretty recently (and one of mine is a just released 0350TS) one strike for the warranty dept and I'll take yours back for just passing on the info. :p

I think that should only be a strike against the individual that gave the info, not the entire department.

The OvalmanPa strikes back! Will there be a return of the KershawLynda!? Now that we know the t-sizes, does anyone know the actual diameter of the pivots for the 0200/030x's vs the 055x/56x's/350 in mm or inches?
