Pivot too small?

I wanted to get this folder but the size of the pivot is concerning me.It seems a bit small for the size of knife. The blade is almost 5" and is 3/16" thick.

 
I'm not gonna lie... that pivot looks pretty pitiful. I am a fabricator that pretends to be an engineer at work, and I would never design a pivot that small into a knife that size.

I thought the same thing as when I saw this picture , the pivot looks like a child's pivot.

It may a different story once you see it in person but I would try to find out more about that particular knife before purchase.

Yeah because the pivot in my 0400 looks to be considerably larger and it's a smaller blade.
 
I think it looks small but I wonder what the heat treat is like on the pivot is like.
 
Looks pretty wimpy to me. The scales could use some chamfering as well. Looks like a high-school shop project.
 
It looks like they cut a lot of corners on that knife to make it cheaper to produce, the pivot being one thing. I guess they thought it was too expensive to buy two different types of screws?
