Yeah, got to do something to try to knock down this HIKV fever.
And dear Yangdu found another Malla, so both are on their way.
The cracked Sirupati will give me some experience with how to fix this blem after I troll for some helpful info. At this rate, I should be able to compare the narrow bladed khukuris.
Now I'm going to need to shark up a good chopper, if I can. A 16.5-18" CAK and a M43 are my first prospects. The CAKs seem like indestructible tools, definitely a big plus. The M43 sounds like it may be a little more agile while excelling at chopping. I really like the curve of the M43 also.
Let's face it, I'll wind up getting both. Just like I'll need a Chitlangi and a Gelbu Special to truly compare the narrow blades. Good thing I'm not married any more.

Lol sorry, the chainpuri, and the Malla. Man I got it bad.:D:D

I admire your taste, the Chainpuir is one of the nicest looking Khuk's around at the present time. The handle carving on this current 'crop' sets them apart from previous releases.

And as another HIKV suffer, I know exactly what you are going through. In my case, it is not showing any signs of remission. :D

I completely agree on the handle carving, that's what drew me in, it really stands out. And that blade is so long and lean.

The Malla has a certain elegance to it, very crisp lines, and that handle looks beautiful, its hard to make out any grain in the photo, but makes it more interesting when I open the package:D

I have the HIKV bad, and agree no signs of remission here either.

Hi is the Uddha sword still available? And do you post to Australia?

Yes Yangdu can post to Oz, does it quite a bit actually.
Best way to find out if the Uddha is still available is to send an email to her at HIMIMP@aol.com. Specify which DOTD you are seeing it in and quote the description in the sale. She should be able to answer your questions ASAP after the holidays.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and wonderful holiday blessings to all of my brothers and sisters out there!
