Strider KITCHEN knives?
Am I seeing this correctly?

What the hell are you guys cooking? Wooley Mammoth?

gator those were some knives looking customs you picked up. i remember one of them because i picked it up thinking it was on display. :)

nope i had no money, i did leave my DB with them to get the sheath fixed and rewrapped with black cord. how many striders do you have man? we should have a show and tell some time since you live in teh area. gimme an email.

NICE PICS!

I like some of the new Striders, and man all of the knives are works of art. Very nice, I just wish I could have made the show.

Thanks for the pics.

We had a great time at the Strider table.
We ended up with 3 more t-shirts, and Luan decided she had to have the MT SS with serrations on the spine in black cord to go with her new AR folder I got her for her birthday a month ago. She is a LEO for City of Reno, and really getting into tacticals. She picked up most of the fixed blades but kept going back to the MT SS, and I knew she wanted it so said go for it. Loved seeing the huge smile on her face.
We were showing off our new Gary Graley sheaths that hold our AR's, and everyone kept asking about them, and the nice workmanship.
The kitchen knives:confused: were huge, and extremely sharp in the chisel grind. Duane kept cutting paper with that thick(3/8"? thick)chefs knife, and showing how incredibly sharp it was.
We had a great time at the table handling all the blades, and talking with everyone.

Couple points. The short one KTD was .25 thick, the longer sahsimi knife was .18 IMHO. None of them were chisel ground. KTD was zero edge, KTY, that particular one was V grind, but Duane said in the future he'd make only zero edge KTYs too.

It was a fun show great pics. That D9 with green cordrap went home with me with 5 other striders. that hitch cover is real nice as well, it is now on my friends truck. My toy camera is down so no pics.I also won 1 of the raffle prizes a R W Clark mini M.A.U neck knife. Chris

Lynn, I am sorry I did not see it earlier. It is a one of that my friend had made along time ago. I ended up with it had it black-t put on it and it was rewrapped. It is the first strider I ever bought Chris

Hey guys!
Just a few notes:
The Kitchen Tools are named Models KTD (the thick one) and KTY.
The KTD is .298" thick and the KTY is apx .172".

The handles on the Bayonet are 6AL4V Titanium.

We will be making more of all three of these pieces after the first of the year. Currently, we are driving on with the SNG, the Karambit and the SureFire (Model SF) pieces as well as our regular production. Lots of great new stuff just around the corner!

All the best,
Duane
