For those heavy jobs on an acre of Arizona high-country scrub oak, juniper, pinõn pine, and chaparral:

  • 18”, 27 oz, Ganga Ram by Bura. Speaks to wood with authority! Spine is 3/8”.
  • 16”, 23 oz, GK BKP (Bone Crusher Purbeli) by Kami Pratap (from EarthBazar, not HI), out of railway track. “Specially made for the Dashian Festival in Nepal. Capable of chopping and crushing big water buffalo bones.” (quote from Prajwal of EarthBazar – personally, I’ve only used it on oak and pine). It’s a tough khuk with a comfortable grip that really fits my hand. One of my first new khuks and still a field favorite. Spine is 7/16”.
  • 16.25”, 29 oz, Chiruwa AK by Kumar. This is the khuk that Dan did some beautiful custom work on for Shane (including a Kydex-leather scabbard, convex edge, and satin finish). Doesn’t have the new improved Habaki bolster, or cho creep of the newer generation. Got it thanks to a post from Yvsa! Spine is ½”.

HD choppers, excepted to see some motorcycle pics here.

Course, we all know that if BirGhroka turned out bikes they'd be a lot clsoer to Honda's than HDs, as an HI khuk will just keep cutting for years and years with no trouble. And well, we don't go into waht an HD khuk would be like. ;)

COol pic, and thanks

HD Khuk = $100 and fully chromed. May only be photographed with a babe nearby.

That's it! Dang, I _knew_ we were missing something! That's what we need, an HI Calendar! Do any of you get the Dillon Precision or Dillion Aero Calendars? They're great. Some tastefully partially unclad ladies (no real nudity of course, after all we are a family outfit here!) each holding a rifle or handgun (or in the case of the aero calendars a full mini-gun) of some kind. But instead of Mandy in June holding a Wilson CQB .45 she could be holding an 18" AK! How about a pair of custom GRS's across the bodice of Ms. December! Or Ms. March demonstrating her quick draw technique with a 21" Chainpuri out of one of Dan's quick draw sheaths? :D

Any photograhers out there? I'm taking full credit for this one! :D ;)
