You have the same addictions that I do!

Man I want the Mick Strider Custom fixed blade on the top of the 2nd and 3rd pic.

I ran into Duane Dwyer this weekend on Saturday. He was at my tactical study group and did the "Kill the aluminum folding chair" bit. That was a jaw dropping eye opening introduction. I checked the blade out afterwards and only noticed two itty bitty nicks on the cutting edge in the center of the blade. There where scratches and marks along the side of the blade but other thant the two nicks it was a very usable blade.

I mananged to pick up a D-9 the weekend before.

Steve Tarani was there too. You should see some of the stinkin' magic he can do with those frickin' Kerambits. I didn't like the design too much before his demonstrations but afterwards.......... I like :) Too bad I don't have anyplace to carry those babies on my belt.

Both Steve and Duane were real cool to hang out and show us some stuff. They both had great sense of humor which you definetely need when you're around the group. I'm glad I got to spend some time with 'em.

You're also into 1911s! Dude the only difference between me an you is my good looks and a couple million tattoos :D

Nice collection you have going there. Cograts!

With all the $$$ invested in custom Emersons and Strider blades, how can you afford your body art? Just curious brother.

That's the type of collection I'm aspiring towards. Great pics and thanks to EB for helping out on the sharing.

Ross: the one on the bottom is a custom too. I only have 1 tattoo now not a million and my wife thinks i look pretty good to ! Yes love those 45's. How do you like the D-9 ? Which strider have you picked up ?

Raye: actually i got most of the ink done before the knives and now that i am thinking about getting sleeved to knives will go on the back burner, i think i have enough to play with. I am lucky enough to make decent moneyn and a wife who doesn't freak out when i drop large sums of cash on sharp steel

John: thanks buddy now you need to donate a ES1M to the collection :D

I did notice the custom on the bottom. I like it but the one up on top just does it for me. ;)

Ok Ok you have ONE HUGE HONKIN' TATTOO then I was wrong. :)

I like the D-9 a lot but it's a little to big for concealed carry. I've been trying to think of a way to rig my leather jackets to be able to mount a fixed blade underneath both arms in the torso section. I could always go with shoulder rigs but I don't like the fact that if you take off your jacket they become un-concealed. I would like it to be part of the jacket until the blade is drawn. It's gonna take some work. I know that bottom custom you have is being sold with a option to a carry system in a jacket but I like working with my leather. ;) Leather is my friend (heheheheh)

I've got, on the way, the EB-LS and the EB-S and a EB-LS trainer and I'm on the list for Duane's AL and I'm looking at trying to pick up one of those Mick cusoms you have. Right now I'm focusing on their smaller blades for concealment. When I run into some more money then I'm gonna focus in on some more of their larger fixed blades. The AL is actually gonna be a great concealment blade and isn't waaaay too small or too big, for me. I got to play with the prototype at the Timonium show and the study group. The recurve and the length and style of the blade just puts a huge.....SMILE on my face.:D I'm spending way too much money on myself instead of Christmas presents for everyone else. :) Some stuff of mine is gonna have to go.

NIIIIIIICE collection! I'm coveting your Mick Strider Custom. Me wants. Is the Strider BT a "SEAL 2000" version? The spine serrations make me think so.

Tattoo,

Nice collection, what do you think of the Mick Strider SLCC?

I think it is a great neck knife and own the Talonite Prototype that was supplied to TAD.

IMHO One of the best Strider blades has to be the HT
Its the one above the SLCC in Tats pics.

Ross
Right now I'm focusing on their smaller blades for concealment

HT is an awesome little blade and easily concealed :)

Its my favourite lil Strider

The waved 8s are gonna stick around with me for awhile longer. :)

I just recieved my EB-LS today. I like it a lot. I like the grips on the knife. It really grabs you like the checkered frontstrap of a 1911. It's a great blade.

I was looking at the HT but decided on the getting the EB-S and a MFS with the cool cord wrap instead of the flat wrap they use on most of their MFSs.

They're all good blades I'm wearing the EB-LS right now and it's concealed real well too. I bet the EB-S would conceal even better with the same blade dimensions too.

Emerson content: I'm wearing a '98 Commander too :D
