plain blade remote release?

Can anyone tell where I might look to find a plain bladed remote release knife. (Not the current 2 model)
My buddy has one but says they stopped making them a few years back. Any info on this and possible places to look for one would be appreciated. Model number also would help my search.

Model number would be C30PBK. Good luck finding one, eBay would be your best bet, but I can't recall the last time I saw one for sale there.

Not sure why they only offer the Remote Release II in SE. If you want it as a user, rather than a "collectible", it might be possible, and perhaps cheaper as well, to have someone like Tom Krein grind the serrations off one of the new ones.
