Plain edge Ladybugs?

Hi folks,

I haven't had much time to hang out here recently so I may have missed it, but as I (mis?)understood it, I thought plain-edge ladybugs were scheduled to appear around Christmas time. I haven't seen any sign of them and was just looking around at various on-line sources today and couldn't find any sign of them.

I know that the Jesters were supposed to fill some of the Ladybug niche, but I really do prefer a splinter-picking sharp point, especially on small knives like that so I was still hoping more for the Ladybugs and I really don't see much value (for me) in 1/2 serrated blades that are that short.

So, what's the word? Are they available at all? Anybody know of a source?

Thanks.

Paul

Dude ~ PE ladybugs are only available in Japan.. There are on-line stores who sells them there.. Try hamonichiba.com

Thanks, guys. It looks like Sal and Co. decided to forgo the PE Ladybug so I'll think about something else for now, maybe a Dragonfly in FRN (I have one with the CF handle and do love the design), but I was thinking about how nice it can be to have something as small as the Ladybug occasionally.

Well, I say a good alternative to a PE Ladybug would ge a PE Jester. They're currently available in a limited edition burgandy micarta scales. It's a very nice little blade.

I would also recommend that you pick up a Jester. It is very close to the Ladybug in size, but with improved ergonomics.

And if you really have your heart set on a PE Ladybug drop me an email. I have one that I'm going to trade out for a Jester as soon as that arrives.
