plain edge or serrated?

i personally like the plain edge for the sake of easier sharpening, but then again the serrated has the ability to saw through some tougher material rather nicely.

This thread has been beaten to death, ive give you the breakdown...95 percent of us all like the plain better..we think it looks better and is great for all but cutting rope...so if sharpened the plain edge is king.

If you get good serrations form a good company like spyderco. They get the job done. sometimes i get sick of worrying about my super sharp plainedge and take my serrated spyderco to work.. it goes threw plastic zipp ties like it was born for it. that and cardboard... besides if every one has a plain edge why not get a serrated one?

Plainedge. I think that this is the most useful for an all around EDC.
