Yeah, Plain Edges!
I held a Vision a few months back, immediately after fondling a Sebenza. I may start something, but if I were buying a knife that day, I would have taken the Vision hands down, IF it had a plain-edged blade. That is how nice the knife is, but one will not be purchased by me until SOG makes a plain-edged version.
I just bought a Mini-Tsunami yesterday because once I got it in my hand I couldn't put it down... However, in a previous post I mentioned that I couldn't shake the feeling that I had "settled" for something less by taking it despite the (useless) 1" of serrations.
The exact same thing happened with my Emerson CQC7B (50/50 serrated.) I love the knife, but it took time to get over the fact that I spent all that money and didn't get something 100% the way I wanted it. Who started this horrible partial serration trend anyway? They should be shot and p*ssed on, after torture.
