Take your pick, Even though the wood inlay is more money that should not deter you from using it. I have both a plain & a Small box elder inlay. I have been using the woodie for a year or so everyday and it looks fine. GO ahead use it, thats what it was made for.

Whoa . . . I thought I posted a message, sorry all. Anyway, I'm taking the plunge for a large sebbie - a user. Aside from looks, do the wood inlays add to the ergonomics of the sebbie. Put another way, should I spring for the wood or are the inlays intended primarily for asthetics?

The wood inlay of course makes for a very handsome Sebbie, but I also find that it makes the handle feel more comfortable.

Yep the woodies fill the hand nicely and make the knife look less plain. I say use them with care of couse.

I have Big hands and I think that the wood inlays give the sebenzas a much better feel.

I have plain large Sebenza and it is a dream to work with!

I like the ergonomic as it is.

Sebenza = tool!!!

Use it – do not only look at it!

Enjoy!
