I didn't and I was thinking that I know almost any damascus pattern used with Sebenza. Anyway. Although I have many beautiful Sebenza with nice inlay materials or graphics, still the plain Jane w. damascus blade fascinates me. It is the combination of the pure titanium slabs, meant to be used and to receive their scars during its life, with the pure elegance of the damascus blade, focussing our view immediately to the blade.
Having a plain Jane with basket weave damascus in my collection I thought I am fine by having this combination represented. Not ambitious to get further pieces with the other current damascus patterns, like raindrop or ladder. But once a special, an anterior damascus pattern crosses my way, I am trying to add it to my collection. For instance Spirograph pattern or others. Never heard about "Dot Matrix" pattern before. So I am very pleased with this. Even more, as it is coated, like they did some years ago. Additionally it is a "pre Idaho stamp" Sebenza, which I like a lot (this "Idaho made" thing wasn't really necessary, to my opinion.).
Okay. Here we got. Let me know what you think about it.
