gentlemen,
i recently had to cut down a lot on knifes.... i really want to send my wife back to school and there is not going to be any dough left for hobbies.
I got rid of a lot of knives trying to keep a few essentials and other knives than i really love.
i kept my dearest ultratech, a waved endura, a small mcusta, a very beautiful fighter made by A.C. Warren (Portland), and a trusty BM 3550.

Now, about the sebenza....

A few months ago i bought a small unique design that i recently got rid of...
i was really pleased with it. the sebbie was all i even wanted in a folder: blade geometry, simplicity, finish, balance, clip, even the thumb stud, everything was there... only, i couldn't use it... it was too nice... i ended up carrying the sebbie less then it deserved or always with another knife to use instead of it. i just couldn't use the sebbie... I also found it a little small for my taste.
so i traded it. i couldn't leave that kind of cash laying around....

now i really want to buy another one to use. I miss a folder of that caliber in my small collection . i thought about buying a skirmish or a bradley, or a buck/mayo. i handled all three and none gave me the same feeling of a CRK.

i guess my next purchase will be a large sebenza(but i really wish there was a medium size sebbie because to me the large feels a tad too much).

I really liked the graphic ones as pieces of art but i need something simplier that i would actually use without being too concerned about cosmetic damages.

i thought a CGG Echo would be a perfect balance... or should i go plain and save those 60 dollars?

CGG are really nice too.

If concerned about carry is the biggest problem for you, pick up a plain one or otherwise used one right here on the forums, you'll save a good bit of money.

Sometimes if you're quick a REALLY good deal can be found.

Keep an eye on the forums....

This is what $265 will get ya. :D

If it will be a user, I'd go for a plain one. It begs to be used and scratches etc just adds to its character. I use mine daily and loving it more every day!
