Plain Umfaan price ?

Some time ago i bought the plain jane Umfaan you see in the pictures.
Problem is that, as you can see on the second and third picture, the handles have a few scratches.
It was like this when i bought the knife, the blade itself is mint though.

Does Chris Reeve Knives also refurbish these little guys ?
And out of curiosity, what would this knife be worth nowadays ?

If you call Chris Reeve I'm sure they will be happy to answer your question about refurbing your Umfann.

they used to go for $600 a few years ago, but someone had a unique one recently that was priced more like $400. So I think the market has cooled a bit.
 
yes, Dave is right, I recently saw a unique umfaan brand new on ebay, it was sold for about 500ish.
 
I really like the Umfann. If CR came out with another run of plain Umfanns (and he changed the thumbstud) I'd buy one. Or, maybe more than one.
