Plain versus Classic???

OK OK OK --I'm finally going to bite the bullet and pick up a Small Sebbie, but I am kinda' new to the differences in the plain v. classic. Can someone answer and maybe even post some good pics of theirs...maybe even side-by-side. Also, are there options on blade finish or are they all the same? Please advise and give me any help in buying my first classic.
