Greetings,

I see a lot of posts about the Graphics and Inlays carried as EDC's but I wonder how many folk carry a good ole plain everyday?

Sooooooo what's in YOUR pocket?

Brent...
:p

My EDC is a Small, Classic Sebenza. No inlay or graphics, but I did have CRK engrave my initials in the handle;looks very nice, I might add! I am impressed with the inlays and graphics I have seen, just don't have the money right now to get one. The grapics and inlays are like the Sebenza itself-outstanding quality! In my opinion, they turn the Sebenza into a functional piece of art.

I used to carry a plain Sebenza for EDC but since acquiring a "couple" of Unique Graphics I have transitioned to carrying a Large Unique Graphic as my EDC. For some reason when I have had to use it around other people, the Graphic doesn't seem to elicit a panic response like the Plain does. Sort of like a fancy accessory :D

Have carried both and have to say that the inlays do seem a little more "friendly" I currently have a large Classic with brown leather inlays as my edc.

BTW, the polished titanium surface doesn't seem to show marks like the bb plains do. So whats up with that?:)

I use a small plain and the small calvary quite often. The plain is probably used more because working around equipment and gardening the dirt and grime encourages me to not carry the calvary all the time. I am amazed at how well the plain holds up ,and for as much as I do carry the calvary the knife is holding up well. I carry it in a G-2 sheath and there are a couple of rubbed out spots if you look in the right light but I think that has more to do with the fact that I occasionally fall asleep with the sheath and knife still on  I did for a few days around easter when on vacation.... the wood sebenza I have personally has been carried alot before I got the calvary and it holds up great too.

I carry a small classic plain since it was all I could afford. Sort of an entry level Seb. Over time it seems to be getting "randomly engraved" with use. Still seems just as pretty.

Cheers,
Gord

Small plain classic. I just ordered a plain sm classic with b/w spirograph damascus and will switch to
that when it arrives. It is really difficult to use an expensive seb for edc cuss you don't want to mess them up.
It actually seems rather silly to buy them although a have several. Go figure
