What's your guys take? I prefer a plain edge. I think it has more of a use in everyday life. I own no serrated knives but have used them, and they do zip through some chore work very well, but still not as useful as a plain edge. I own a few partially serrated blades, my favs being a Benchmade Grippy and a Buck X-Tract. They have more plain than serrated but its nice to have both. I do however prefer to not buy partials because I just dislike them, but if theres more plain than serration i can deal if I have to. Oh yeah, a little off topic but, any of you who own a benchmade griptillian 551, does your blade just fly open? It kinda scares me to have tip up in my pocket because it bit me before. The blade has no movement in it when it's open but it flies open when i flip it. Its the smoothest knife i own and i don't want to play with the pivot screw, but I was just wondering if anyone else found this a problem.
