Planning a trip to Blade Show 2013.

As the title says I am planning on going to blade show 2013,and I was just wondering how soon I should buy the tickets for it as I don't know how fast they sell out. I am still waiting to see if a few friends can manage the vacation time for a road trip.also,if I should buy an early pass for it,not sure how fast the customs well sell.

The tickets don't sell out fast. At least not regular tickets. I'm not sure if there is a limit on early bird tickets and the like.

I would be sure to bring plenty of cash and have a game plan. The place is huge!

I wouldn't worry about getting into the show, but more on where I was going to stay, and what else I'd do on the trip. Myself, I prefer to stay at a hotel that is not the main one for the show, although there are advantages to staying at the Sheraton. There's a lot of neat stuff around Atlanta to occupy your time too, so plan accordingly.

I was just talking to a friend last night about a blade show trip! I am glad to see we are not the only ones thinking way ahead!

The very close-in hotels do book up. But you can stay within a mile easily. Shop around as prices vary.

As for the show itself, I offer two tips: if you are not used to being on your feet all day, bring two or three pairs of shoes as your feet will thank you of you can at least change from day to day. Second, bring your own water bottle as even water is espensive in the show itself (and you might want to bring some small snacks too).
