Probably in early February. I know for certain there will be a couple of Toby`s Knives, one in ironwood, and one in buckeye burl, but what else do you want to see? I`m always open to suggestions. It`s starting to look like sales are the future, not orders.

"no names" seem liek they'd be popular, and some smaller knives, I liked the blanks to

The smaller EDC type blades really pique my interest, I've yet to snag one I really liked but I'm sure you'll spit something out that I can't pass up, and actually have the funds to buy.
Not sure if I've ever seen a convex either.

kephart
rule #9
camp & trail
compact tool

I am thinking of another Compact Tool, everyone who has got one seems to like it. Nobody seems to like the new Kephart, and the old design is no more.

Ever thought of offering an economy fire kit with a 6" knecker and ferro rod in a simple sheath? I would like to see a 6" knecker, especially one with no handle and a SW blade.

I like the new kephart a lot. Next on my list if I can come up with some extra scratch.

the one that is listed on your site under current models is the "classic kephart". is that the "new" or "old" one?

Element variants. Like Tanto, Wharncliffe, hawkbill, etc style blades but in 3" edc format...

Smaller EDC knives, bird and trout stuff, Toby stuff. I think people love the utilitarian and practical nature of a good small knife. Sales are the way to go.

Classic Kephart

Old model Kephart (no longer available)

The old model was one of the best. I gave mine to a kid going into the Marine Corps. Great knife. In my opinion, the best knife John has ever made is the EWOK. Next on the list is Toby's, the Phoenix, and the JK Original.

Possibly offer sales on these?

thanks John. i still can't quite tell what the difference is. it appears that the new one has a longer blade and handle? ... and a slightly different handle shape.

i find myself more drawn to the old model (no offense), so would be curious to hear about the decision to change it. i still can't search in the forum due to errors, so i can't find the history on the changes.

but, don't bother muddying up this thread. i am getting off topic. i will wait for BF to fix the search errors and then look for the history. i am sure i've seen it...just can't remember.

i thought of the EWOK too. I am not much of a small knife guy, but i know everyone loved those. i think John did say he was offering some Toby's knives.

I can`t offer the EWOK or Original, they were limited serial numbered last runs. I had a Phoenix in the Thanksgiving sale.
