I have not been contributing for a while and would like to step up and coordinate the 2008 knife project.

Please use this thread to begin the dicussion for the 08 knife. I will start with an interest poll.

After few get three frontrunners with a n>50 we will narrow the field.

Hey Ed, congrats and thanks for taking the helm on the 2008 knife! Count me in for whatever is chosen. If you need any help or have any questions, feel free to ask. I'm just finishing up the 2007 knife adventure. (or at least I will be once they arrive)

I voted trapper (as in carbon steel, 4" closed, 2 blade: clip & wharncliffe trapper, with stag).

I don't know if many others would have any interest in a small traditional simple folksy fixed blade with nice sheath, but I would.

A have a couple with ram & buffalo horn. Both very durable & looks good.
I love nice stag scales, but ram or buffalo horn are a close second.
