i was wondering if anyone could tell me and or show me what type of bimetal blade i should get with it to cut stainless steels like ats34 and 440c i have variable thicknesses from 1/8 to 5/16.

if you could tell me how many teeth per inch for this stuff would be helpfull

ohh and i will be picking the blade up when i get the saw. cus i have to go to tulsa to pick it up.

working at walmart is great!! every 3 months we get a bonus, that and i only work fri. sat. sun. :D 4 days off to do what ever i want i e knife making

ive always preferred the lennox 14tpi bimetal for cutting everything up to about 1/2 inch it will be fine.

about 5 teeth or more have to be in contact with metal when cutting.
14 tpi might be on the low side for 1/8, go with 18 at least. I use 24 and
it is just fine. Doesn't cut as aggressively, but will last forever.

If you strip 1 tooth, it won' be long before the ones behind start to go.

rashid, i think that should be "2 teeth or more". 18TPI would put 2 in 1/8" steel; 24TPI, 3.

I tried a "variable tooth wavy" Diemasater 2 this last time and it seems to be a pretty nice blade, also.

I use a port-band so I keep a selection of blades, 14-24 tpi. I use Starret, Lennox and Milwalkie brands. I avoid Simmons, unless you enjoy the spray of hot teeth in your face. The best blades that you can get are the best value...Ed

Lenox bimetal 18TPI.Or 14/18 variable.Don't even waste your time with cheap HF and such blades.
