10th of Nov, myself and a few friends are taking the 4x4s out for another camping trip.....so that means all the goodies can go!!!
I'm hoping, and running a bet, to see if my 1311 or my Sniper Hawk arrive in time. If they do then the play toys will be those, plus my tried and true Dogfather, my buddies 911, a new to me old school Plumb camp axe, versus the 16" Wetterlings, and my Wolf Creek Forge hammer poll. Should be a good time.
Looking most forward to the Kill Devil Sniper hawk, I really want to beat on it some, after the March tornados there is plenty of wood and blow downs to go at.......here to hoping it ships in time!!!!!! Lets go SWAMP!!!!!!

My 1311 arrived on Wedensday so it got to go, sadly no Sniper Hawk. Ill have to upload the pictures later. The 1311 is impressive, in my opinion it does great limbing the blow downs left from the tornado and clearing the trails for the jeeps to get down. When it comes to batoning the larger stuff down to kindling my Dogfather still is king. I do however like how light the 1311 is, and really like the extra length. The 1311 really does a good job of being almost machete like, yet still a crazy tough beater knife. Overall I was pretty impressed by it. I'll get the photos up soon, and then do a big review when everything finally arrives

Excellent news about the 1311. I have a Basic 11, and that is the reason i didn't pull the trigger on the 1311, too close for me. I found the B11 to be amazing for de-limbing maple branches brought down by the hurricane. I was really hoping to get some footage of the kill devil at work though, hopefully soon.

1311 is a winner.

I'm glad I got in when the getting was good / possible.

I wanted a B11 about the time the basic 10LEs were released. Got the 10's and held off on the 11.

Asymmetric was appealing so I started thinking it was B11 time again. That's about when the 1311 was announced. B11 pushed down the want list yet again.

Now that I have B10s and 1311....B11 is a long shot. At least for now.

Not that close at all. The 1311 has much more than 2+ inches of blade on the B11(think about the choil and giant rassco on the B11). Plus the 1311 is much quicker in the hand. Had a B11 and had no qualms about selling it after the 1311 came out.

KDH is awesome also!

Cool pics, nice add on with the AK. So what was up with the hawk? From what I see in other pics the edge geometry looks to be set up pretty good for cutting.
