Well as the title said, I came across this one, and as I like the modern look combined with the wood (like the Buck Alpha Dorado which I like very much, but a bit on the heavy side).
What is your thought on it ?

Actually I'm still in doubt with the Buck Alpha Dorado which I like better for the looks, but the weight scares me a little bit for EDC ...
Any guys have experience with it?

I've been a fan of Lone wolf for folders for bit, can't go wrong with the N680! Although I became a fan of their landslide just for how light it is.

I have a few of these that were made by the original Lone Wolf before Benchmade purchased them. I don't carry this particular one, but the smaller one, originally the Blackfoot, now called the Swale, has been in my EDC rotation for about 3 years now. They are very similar except for the size. I can't attest to the Benchmade versions, but the originals are absolutely outstanding. Try to get the original if you can. The one in your picture is the Longhorn. BTW, the 'wood' on the Benchmade ones is Dymondwood, which is plywood laminated with resin.

No idea where to find an original lone wolf here locally ... Still in doubt with the Buck alpha dorado/hunter, like the modern look combined with the wood :)

Ow, just noticed the difference between the dorado and the hunter, size and weight ...
That makes it even more difficult to choose as the hunter has a larger blade but weighs a lot more which makes it less appropriate for EDC use and to carry it in the pocket I think ... there as the lone wolf has the same size, but weighs alot less.
And then the steel types, the Buck is better with the S30v.
Pheeeeeew life's hard :-)

Just wanted to let you guys know I went for a totally different knife, have read alot of good reviews about it so it became a Spyderco Delica 4 (grey).
Thanks for the suggestions and this thread can be closed ;-)
