Plans For 2010

I`ve got a lot of ideas floating around in my head for new designs (too much empty space in there ) and I`ve already started one of them, a pocket scandi. 6 1/4" overall, with a 2 1/2" blade. The handle is actually quite hand filling for it`s size. I should have it done next week, when I heat treat some other blades. I`m hoping to get more customer designs to make next year, those are some of the most interesting.

I think a fatter, round scandi blade would be cool.

Maybe a scandi version of the skeleton EDC(C Bryant design I think). I think that could be cool. Still waiting to see one with scales.

Should be doing two of those in February.

Maybe a 1/8 inch thick ultra lite hunter model with scandi grind. That is on my list for this next year.

One thing that I would like to see is a option for a spring steel pocket clip for sheaths. That would be great on the pocket carry fixed blade sheaths

I`ll check what my suppliers have to offer. Did you go in for your tests yet?

I am back from my tests. they really were not conclusive They put off a couple tests because a couple of my labs didn't favor the use of the dye that they use. They want to do them later. He doesn't think that there is any immediate problem and I have been feeeling much better.

I will be anxious to see what kind of pocket clips that thewy may have.:thumbup:

I would like to see a pocket sheath with some type of clip that would keep the knife so that I could easily grab it. I have a couple pocket fixed blades but never EDC them. I do throw them in a pack or jacket pocket but that is the only use they get.

I`ve got a Buck trapper and a Case Moose. Is it the full size or the mini? Just let me know the oal, and I can do one.
