I need em...

Anybody got links to places that do 'small' floorplans? I mean like sheds and workshops--not homes or industrial buildings?

The wife and I are picking up some land down by Richland Chambers Lake, and as soon as we can get enough of it cleared, I want to go ahead and start putting up my forge/shop. Only problem is, I have no real idea what sort of a floorplan to use. I have ideas about what I want and where, but I need something just a tad more structural...

Thusfar my 'plans' have been mostly sketches on napkins, scratch paper, etc.--I don't have the money to go and have an architect design some overblown thing, but I've found that it's much easier for me to concentrate on doing my carpentry right when I have a specific blueprint to work from...

My skills as a Jedi Carpenter are not yet complete, and I can't build very well 'on the fly.' Thus, I was hoping to find a site where I could look at a few plans, maybe get a few ideas, and compare.

Thoughts?

TIA!!

Kalindras, I am in the process of building a larger shop as we speak. One thing I will tell you is, it seems you never have enough room. I planned out mine as much as I thought I could and It is still hair pulling to say the least. I was thinking of going to Home Depot or Lowes and checking with one of their kitchen designers and see if he or she would print out something on their computer. If you find a real nice employee, they might do it for you. Good luck! Mark Hazen. Don't know how much if any that helped
