Plastic back spacer pin

Which Spyderco lockbacks don't have the plastic back spacer that have the little plastic nubs that must fit into the metal liners? Does the Emerson endura, stretch 2, stretch 2 xl have them? I know the police 4 LW has a metal pin for the lockback spring but that knife is a little too big and the native 5 LW is integrated into the scales but that knife is on the small side for me.

All of the lock backs having nested liners with FRN scales and back spacers have the lower tang injection molded nubs.

The design and FRN material are perfectly suited for the job. Where the greatest issue lies is with the deformational damage done with improper disassembly of the knife. For ANY of the back lock designs... disassembly STARTS with the lock bar removal. This eliminates the spring pressure forces transferred through the bar spring into the back spacer lower tang.

The KC Pakkawood series (spell?), and an old classic G10 Endura version have steel backspacers and nubs.

Also note that you can buy brass/copper/Ti Delica and Endura backspacers from Flytanium.

Thanks for the insight. The Native 5 does appeal to me quite a bit in it's design simplicity and what I find to be a beautiful blade shape, so I might just splurge a little and give the spy27 steel a try. It's just sometimes cumbersome to have to cut a hamburger or sandwich in half with a sub 3 inch blade haha

Back lock, no FRN, no 3" blade.
