Sighhh, well my fingers slipped while reassembling my Manix2 and I broke the clear plastic tail (spring guide) of the plastic ball cage. Anyone know where to get a replacement clear ball cage and if not, has anyone successfully reattached the plastic spring guide?

I'm not sure you can get one. I'd call spyderco tomorrow maybe they can fix it for ya

Hmm, now I'm wondering if I even need the plastic spring guide...would it be a problem if I used the ball cage without it?

I have a older saber grind where the same thing happened.
Just reassembled it and I have had zero issues.

Otherwise. Send it in and take the hit.

I've read a couple of posts now where the knife was reassembled without the spring guide and both said they had no issues. It's an older sabre grind, dlc, s30v model in excellent shape and I want to keep it as is with a clear cage...at least that's my hope. :)
