Plastic insert for nylon sheath?

I have a Ranger RD7 (Gingrich OEM), which came with the standard nylon sheath. There's a plastic or acrylic liner inside the sheath that over the years has become crushed/cracked/ broken in spots. Although still functional, it cracked at the top rim impeding reseating the blade into the sheath. Any ideas where I might be able to procure a replacement insert, or if not, gather the materials to craft one?
Thanks!

Buy a plastic gal. of milk . Give the milk away and get a frosty cold beer , now you have the material to make a nice one . Get a hair dryer to heat forum it around the knife . Now you have your new insert .

I bought a kitchen knife at a Dollar Store (Dollar Tree) that had this plastic sheath that I used for a liner.

As stolen from it's home, with a bowie I was making:

Shortened to match the blade:

IDK if it would fit your blade - but at a $1.00 for knife & sheath, what do you have to lose ?

Will definitely check out the Dollar Tree option, thanks!!!
