Hey everyone,

I've got a couple of questions.

I was recently informed that I needed to upgrade my membership in order to keep the link to my leather working business, thats been there for nearly ten years, in my sig line.

now

I see that the price is the same between the craftsman and platinum, if I got platinum would I be allowed to have my link?

Most of my work is for Busse kin, I haven't found the need yet to sell in the knife maker section.

My situation is a little unique, being so specialized, what is my best direction?

I appreciate any advice folks, I'm not sure what to do. Not uncommon. :p

Hey Dwayne. You'll want the Craftsman membership. Platinum can no longer have business links in the sig, and even current Platinum members are having to switch over.

Would I be able to edit the title/shorten it?

ok, now a third question:

Do I pay 25.00 to even it up, or do I have to drop 50.00 for a total of 75? This is what makes a huge difference. Last month would have been the time for me to have known about this huh? :o I just re-upped last month.

You have to drop the $50 and your gold membership will be prorated onto your knifemaker/craftsman/service provider membership. Instructions are here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/f...ership_faqs#faq_faq_paying_membership_upgrade

Well fudge-sickles. :grumpy: 25 I have, 50 I haven't right now.

I appreciate the help Kiah and Karda.

Edit: Coming up with another 50 now is just not easily done, especially at Christmas. So, there's no way at all to simply pay the difference??
