"play" on the blade of Benchmade Presidio 520

Hello there,
I have my BM Presidio 520 for about 2 months. I used it hard for chopping some thin tree branches and i notice that the blade has loosen up a little and also has a small horizontal play. Is there a way to fix this?

Unless you managed to damage it, tightening the pivot should do away with the blade play.

To avoid it loosening up in the future, put on a drop of loctite or permatex (blue/medium grade usually) and then tighten it to the sweet spot (where there isn't much/any blade play, but it still swings smoothly enough for your use).
