Hello there fellow "spydie" addicts,

Well, it appears two of my favorite pasttimes (Playboy magazine & Spyderco knives) have finally come together!

The August 1999 issue of Playboy (pg. 39) recommends various pocket sized folders...among other the Spyderco Toad.

Now if only...

Sal Glesser and Hugh Heffner could come up with a elegant, limited edition, "spydie" for us keyholding gentlemen and ladies.

Wow..someone who actually reads the articles in Playboy..good spotting!
I can hear the conversations all over the place.."Honey, I have to get the new Playboy..there's a Spydie in it!!!"

Well, thank you ever so much for the kind praise, and "vote of confidence," yet some of the photo layouts in said magazine have caused me to become myopic of late (ergo I don't 'just read the articles" as the T-shirt proclaims).

I too can easily picture said excuse for some gents, or other, to step outside and rush off to the nearest newstand ("shesh, us subcribers have it made"). LOL

Hi Everybody,

One of the Editors at Playboy is a huge knife knut. Lucky for us!

Any of you ever read Maxim or Stuff? Both magazines have some Spyderco features coming out soon. Great magazines, they focus on beer, bikinis and toys (lots of electronic stuff,knives and tools). I hear the articles are good reading there as well.

Maybe Playboy should do a pictorial - "Blades and Babes". Hmm...wonder where Miss Paragon is now
