Played with some real Bagwell's today at the paris knife show. One of them have the same look like the Ontario's. Costs 2000 USD. And I will play with them tomorrow too.

Hi Kurtis.
Did the one you handled look like this?

At 2000 USD it's probably a Hell's Belle in Damascus. Bagwell makes some fantastic knives. He also knows how to use them and will sometimes do seminars. Not to be missed.

Hi Charlie
That's a very nice collection you have!
As far as I can see it, yes. Except the handle was black. There were others in Stag with stoutier Blades and a 7 incher in Stag with the "Hells Belle bladestyle".

Did you buy yours direct from Bagwell?
How much did you pay for it?
Is the waiting list really that long?
How is she compared to the Millennium Bowie?

Hi Mike
Didn't see any patterns on the blade, but I assume 2000 USD is overpriced as most of the knifes because of the show. What is the price for a Hells Belle when ordered directly from Bagwell? Do he make seminars in Europe too?

Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Kurt

Kurt,

If you order a Hell's Belle direct from Mr.Bagwell it'll cost around $900 for the basic model. Worth the money and the wait because Bill will "tailor" the knife to you personally. His contact information is: Bill Bagwell, P.O. Box 315, Crowville, LA 71230 and phone (318) 878-8435. The few seminars he has done so far, have only been in the U.S. for a very select group.

Mike
